Farmers & Merchants Bank: Where Family is our Foundation

Pay It Forward is Farmers & Merchants Bank’s signature social good initiative designed to celebrate the vital role local businesses and nonprofit organizations play in strengthening our communities. Through the campaign, FMB partners with five locally owned businesses, each serving as the host location for one designated day. Community members are encouraged to visit and support the featured business during its assigned event day, creating increased visibility and activity for local businesses.

At the end of each event day, the participating business shares its total sales with FMB, and the bank contributes a percentage of those sales as a donation to a nonprofit organization selected to partner with that business. By connecting community spending with charitable giving, Pay It Forward creates a meaningful impact for both local businesses and nonprofit organizations. The campaign reflects FMB’s commitment to investing in the communities it serves by supporting local commerce, raising awareness of important nonprofit missions, and encouraging community members to come together for a greater good.
